GAMSAT in Singapore
Singapore is one of five countries where ACER runs test centres, and the only one that carries an explicit overseas levy. No Singaporean institution uses the score, so a Singapore sitting is always the first step in an Australian, British or Irish application.

The short version
ACER delivers the test-centre sections in Australia, Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and Singapore. Singapore is a delivery location, not a demand market — every institution in our dataset that admits on GAMSAT sits in one of the other three countries.
What it costs from Singapore
This is the one country where the published price is not the price.
ACER charges all fees in Australian dollars for anyone sitting outside Ireland or the UK, so a Singapore registration is A$568. On top of that, ACER states verbatim that “an additional overseas test levy of AUD$208 applies to sit GAMSAT in Singapore”. The levy exists to cover the cost of arranging sittings outside the three home markets.
Foreign exchange rates at the time of booking apply to both charges. Late registration adds a further A$114, and a change of country later costs A$83.
Where you can sit it
Singapore appeared as a venue for both the March 2026 and September 2026 sittings. Only Sections 1 and 3 are sat at the centre — Written Communication is remote-proctored for every candidate in every country, roughly three weeks earlier.
ACER states that it may add or cancel testing locations after registrations open, that not all venues operate on every day of a test window, and that there is no wait-list for centres, sessions or dates. Book early rather than assuming a seat will be there.
Where a Singapore-sat score can be used
The test is identical wherever you sit it. The admissions systems are not.

The most consequential difference for anyone sitting outside the home markets is validity: an Australian application gives the same score 4 years of life against 2 in the UK and Ireland. Full detail is on the international applicants page.
The exam does not change by country
There is one GAMSAT. Sitting it in Singapore gives you the same paper, the same timing and the same syllabus as sitting it anywhere else, so preparation does not vary by market either — start with the free timed practice test.
Common questions
Does any Singaporean university accept GAMSAT?
None appears in our dataset of institutions that admit on GAMSAT, which covers Australia, the UK and Ireland. ACER lists Singapore as a test-delivery location only. Confirm directly with any Singaporean programme you are considering — we do not track Singaporean admissions criteria.
Is the overseas levy avoidable?
Only by sitting at a test centre in Australia, Ireland or the UK. The levy is attached to the venue, not to your nationality or the country you are applying to.
Can I sit the whole test remotely from Singapore?
Written Communication is remote for everyone. Sections 1 and 3 can be sat remotely only with prior approval, granted if you live more than three hours’ drive from a listed test centre or in a country with no test centre. Singapore has a test centre, so distance is the relevant test — and ACER does not grant approval simply because you would prefer it.
