Who writes this, and why it exists
An independent GAMSAT practice site with no course to sell. This page explains the gap we are trying to fill and how we are paid, so you can decide how much to trust the rest.
The short version
Free timed practice under real exam conditions, original questions, no signup, and score interpretation for every institution that uses GAMSAT. We are not affiliated with ACER and we do not sell a preparation course.
The gap this fills
Search for GAMSAT practice and look at what actually ranks. On four of the eight biggest queries in this topic, the top result is a Reddit thread. Not a guide, not a tool. A forum post.
That is not because Reddit is authoritative. It is because candidates trust it more than the alternative, and Google has read that signal. Almost every other site on page one is a preparation company. Their free material exists to move you into a paid course, and those courses run from a couple of hundred dollars to A$5,999— roughly ten times ACER’s own registration fee.
A course company can produce good material. What it cannot do is tell you that you probably do not need its course. That is the missing piece, and it is the only thing this site is trying to be.
What we built instead
Most free GAMSAT material is a PDF, a gated sample, or an article about practice tests. We built the thing itself: a test that runs in the browser, timed the way the real sections are timed, marked immediately, with a worked explanation on every question.
No account. No email address before you start. No card. The score you get at the end is a raw percentage on our material, and we say plainly that it is not a predicted GAMSAT score, because no public conversion to a scaled score exists.

Who writes it
People who have sat GAMSAT and finished with it. That second condition is not optional.
ACER’s conflict-of-interest terms allow it to “refuse or cancel a relevant registration” for anyone affiliated with a preparation provider. Commissioning someone who still has a sitting ahead of them would put their own registration at risk to improve our content. We will not do that.
So contributors are people who have completed their GAMSAT journey — sat it, got their result, moved on. They write about the sections they actually sat.
The team writes about the sections it actually sat, and about what it would do differently. We are not padding that out with stock photos or invented credentials.

How the site is paid for
The practice test is free and we intend to keep it that way. There is no paywall on it and no signup wall in front of it.
We may earn a commission when someone buys a book or a course through a link on this site. Where a page contains a paid link, that page says so, at the link, before you click it. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not change what we say about the product. The rules we hold ourselves to — including the highest-paying programme in this market, which we refuse — are set out in full on the affiliate disclosure.
If we ever ask for your email address, it will be after you have your result, it will be optional, and it will never be the price of seeing your score.
What we will not do
- Reproduce real GAMSAT material. No past papers, no transcribed questions, regardless of the traffic those pages would earn.
- Invent a number. If we cannot verify a cutoff, a fee or a date, we say so rather than publishing something plausible.
- Imply a connection to ACER. There is none, and we say so on every page that mentions the exam.
- Give you personal admissions advice. We do not know your file. See the disclaimer for what that means in practice.

Tell us when we are wrong
We will get things wrong. When we do, we fix the page and note what changed rather than editing quietly. If you have found an error, report it here. For anything else, the contact page lists the addresses and is honest about what we cannot help with.
