What is distinctive about Swansea
Swansea splits its published cutoffs by domicile, and both the Welsh-domiciled and international routes sat three points below the home figure for September 2024 entry: 53, 50 and 50. Few institutions anywhere publish an international cutoff at all.
The section rule is narrower than it first reads. Where most schools demand 50 in all three sections, Swansea’s applies to Section 3 only. Sections 1 and 2 are not individually gated, so a weak Section 1 is survivable here in a way it is not at Liverpool.
