What is distinctive about Liverpool
Liverpool’s system is the most mechanical in the UK group. Fifty is required in every component — the overall and all three sections, with no compensation between them. Above that, each additional point is worth 50 points in the selection score.
The cap matters more than the floor. The scale stops at 60, so a 60 and a 75 score identically at Liverpool. Beyond 60 the GAMSAT is doing nothing for you at all, which is a genuinely different optimisation to almost anywhere else on this list.
Both the A100 and the A101 graduate entry route run through the same requirements. Entry is a 2:1 in any subject, or a 2:2 carried by a Master’s or PhD. Non-graduates are admitted only through narrow professional-registration exceptions.
