Terms of use

Terms of use

The rules for using GAMSAT Practice Test. Last updated 29 July 2026.

The short version

Use the material to study. Do not scrape it, republish it, or sell it. Our questions are our copyright. Nothing here predicts your GAMSAT result, and nothing here is admissions advice.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using gamsatpracticetest.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site. There are no accounts on this site, so there is nothing to register for and nothing to terminate — but the terms still apply while you are here.

We may change these terms. The date at the top of the page moves when we do, and the version live at the time you use the site is the one that applies.

2. What you may do

You may use everything on this site for your own personal study. That includes taking the practice tests as often as you like, reading the explanations, working through the guides, printing a page for your own revision, and quoting a short extract with a link back if you are writing about us.

Teachers, tutors and student societies pointing people at a page are welcome. Link to it rather than copying it, and everyone gets the current, corrected version.

3. What you may not do

The short list, and we mean it about the first two.

  • No scraping or bulk extraction. Automated harvesting of our questions, explanations, university records or any other content — by crawler, script, headless browser or otherwise — is not permitted.
  • No redistribution. Do not republish our questions or explanations, anywhere, in any medium: not in a PDF, not in a Google Doc, not in a Discord server, not on a forum, not in a course, and not uploaded into a third-party or AI platform as training or reference material.
  • No commercial use. Do not sell our material, bundle it into a paid product, or use it to teach a paid course, without our written permission.
  • No passing it off. Do not present our questions as your own, and do not imply we endorse you, your course or your service.
  • No interference. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, circumvent its limits, or use it in a way that degrades it for other people.
  • No misuse of the brand. Do not use our name or design in a way that suggests an association we have not agreed to.

If you want to use our material in a way this section does not allow, ask. Write to hello@gamsatpracticetest.com and tell us what you have in mind.

4. Our copyright

Every question on this site is original work, written from scratch by our contributors. The questions, the stimulus material, the worked explanations, the guides, the university records as compiled and presented here, and the design of the site are our copyright or are used with permission.

Copyright protects expression, not ideas, skills or format. We rely on that principle ourselves: we build a test that mirrors GAMSAT’s structure, timing and reasoning demands while every word is ours. We ask for the same line to be respected in the other direction. Test the same concepts, in the same order, at the same difficulty if you like. Do not take our language.

Facts are not ours to own. A cutoff figure is a fact and we cannot claim it. The compilation, labelling, verification dates and commentary around it are ours.

5. GAMSAT is ACER's trademark

GAMSAT® is a registered trademark of the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). GAMSAT Practice Test is an independent resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to ACER. ACER does not endorse, review, or approve any of the preparation materials on this site. All practice questions are written independently and are not reproduced from any GAMSAT examination.

We use the word GAMSAT descriptively, to say what our material is for. That is what descriptive referential use means and it is permitted, provided it is honest and does not imply a connection. We do not describe our questions as real, past, replica or leaked GAMSAT questions, because they are none of those things.

All other trademarks, including the names of universities and preparation providers mentioned on this site, belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively.

6. No warranty about your result

A score here does not predict a score there.

Our tests are original material written to ACER’s published specification. They are not the exam. Performing well on this site is not a guarantee, a prediction or an indication of your GAMSAT result, of an interview offer, or of an admission outcome.

ACER converts raw marks into a scaled score using a method calibrated against everyone who sat that particular exam. No public conversion from raw practice performance to a scaled score exists, so we report a raw percentage and nothing more. The reasoning is set out on scope and limitations.

The site is provided on an “as is” basis. We verify carefully and date everything, but we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete, and cutoffs, fees and dates change without notice.

7. Not advice

Nothing on this site is personal admissions, legal, financial or medical advice. It is general educational material. Before you act on anything here — an eligibility rule, a cutoff, a deadline — confirm it with the institution you are applying to or with ACER. Where our data and a university’s own page disagree, the university is right. The full position is on the disclaimer.

8. Links to other sites

We link to ACER, universities, application bodies and sometimes to preparation providers and booksellers. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their accuracy, and a link is not an endorsement unless we say it is. Some links may earn us a commission; where that is the case it is labelled at the link and explained in the affiliate disclosure.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything published here, including any admissions outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law or any equivalent consumer protection in your country.

10. Availability and changes to the site

This is a free service. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including individual questions or pages, without notice. We remove pages we can no longer stand behind rather than leaving them up, which is a feature rather than a failure.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms, permission requests, and anything else: hello@gamsatpracticetest.com. Factual errors have their own route at corrections.
