Medify GAMSAT review

The cheapest serious option in this market by a wide margin, from the largest operator in it — for whom the GAMSAT is a secondary product. Both halves of that sentence matter.

Our position, up front

We earn nothing from this page. Medify runs no affiliate programme — /affiliate returns a 404, and what exists instead is school discounts, bursaries and a tutor directory, none of which pays a publisher.

One clarification worth making because it has caught others out: medifyair.com is an unrelated air-purifier company that does run a 10% affiliate programme. If you have seen “Medify pays 10%” somewhere, that is the air purifiers.

Read from medify.co/pricing on 28 July 2026. One global site: medify.com.au 301-redirects to medify.co, so there is no separate Australian store.

A price change we are flagging against our own earlier figure

Our own research earlier in July 2026 recorded Medify at £49.99 per month. The live pricing page now shows £30 per month. That is either a repackaging or a genuine cut, and we have not established which.

We are pointing at it rather than quietly publishing the newer number, because if you budgeted off the older figure you should know it moved — and because a subscription price that changed once inside a month is one to re-check on the day you buy.

Australians pay in pounds

medify.com.au redirects to the global site, and there is no AUD price list. An Australian buyer pays the GBP figure plus whatever their card charges to convert, and carries the exchange-rate risk on a subscription.

It is still by far the cheapest option in this market once converted. It is just not the clean local purchase the .com.au domain implies, and we have not printed a converted figure here because any rate we quoted would be stale by the time you read it.

What you get, and the gap in it

The inclusions are strong for the price. One omission is structural.

The subscription carries 7,000 practice questions with full explanations, 7 full mocks plus 2 short mocks, study notes and performance analytics. Unusually, one subscription also unlocks Medify’s UCAT, interview and A-Level products — genuinely broad bundling at this price.

The mocks cover Sections 1 and 3 only

Medify’s full mocks cover the two multiple-choice sections. For Section 2 what you get is guidance plus 7 test-like sample tasks with example answers — not marked essays, and not a full essay-writing simulation.

That is the single most important thing to know before buying. If your weakness is Section 2, this product does not address it, and no amount of price advantage changes that. Marked essay feedback is what GradReady is consistently praised for and what Gold Standard bundles 16 of.

GAMSAT is not Medify’s flagship, and it shows

Reported as the recurring critique it is, with our sourcing limit stated.

Sourcing limit

Trustpilot blocks our fetchers, so Medify’s Trustpilot score and review count are unverified — and they are among the most-cited evidence for this brand. Our record of candidate opinion comes from forum titles and search snippets rather than full threads.

Medify is the largest operator in this comparison set by some distance: 200+ school partnerships, four product lines, a public product changelog. But it was built around the UCAT, and the UCAT is still the flagship. The recurring critique in comparison threads is that the GAMSAT content is thinner than the UCAT equivalent — which is consistent with what is actually published: a smaller mock count, no Section 2 marking, and a free tier whose contents are not disclosed.

The fair positioning, and the one experienced candidates tend to land on, is that Medify is the best-value question bank in this market rather than a teaching course. Judged as a question bank at £210 a year it is very hard to beat. Judged as a substitute for a A$5,399 course, it is not one, and it does not claim to be.

Who it suits, and who it does not

If you are…Then…
Wanting volume of Section 1 and 3 practice, cheaplyThe strongest value in this market. 7,000 questions at £210/year has no close competitor on price.
Weak on Section 2Look elsewhere. Sample tasks and example answers are not marked essays.
Sitting UCAT or interviews as wellOne subscription covers all of them — the bundling is a genuine, unusual advantage.
In Australia and wanting AUD pricingThere is none. You pay in GBP and carry the conversion.
Wanting to test it firstThe free plan is genuine, though its contents are not published. Try it before subscribing.
Wanting teaching, structure or a mentorNot this product. See the comparison for what buys that, and what it costs.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Medify cost for GAMSAT?

£15 a week, £30 a month, or £210 a year, plus a genuine free tier at £0. There is no separate Australian pricing — medify.com.au redirects to the global site and everything is charged in pounds.

Is Medify good for the GAMSAT?

As a question bank, yes — 7,000 questions with explanations at £210 a year is the best value in this market. As full preparation, no: the mocks cover Sections 1 and 3 only, and Section 2 gets guidance and sample tasks rather than marked essays.

Does Medify cover Section 2?

Partially. There is Section 2 guidance and 7 test-like sample tasks with example answers, but no essay marking and no full essay simulation in the mocks. If Section 2 is your weakness this is the wrong product for it.

Is Medify better than Fraser’s or GradReady?

It is a different category, roughly a twentieth of the price. Medify sells questions; Fraser’s and GradReady sell teaching, tutoring and marked essays. Buy questions if that is what you lack.

Is this review sponsored?

No. Medify runs no affiliate programme and we earn nothing from this page. The 10%-paying “Medify” you may have seen is medifyair.com, an unrelated air-purifier company.
